End of the stone age: wall and drainage finished

Monday and Tuesday were taken up with finishing the wall – core filling the blocks, capping and finally rendering so the bits we can see look noice.

Then we had to put the drainage pipe in behind. It’s 100mm ag pipe with a ‘sock’, gravel under and on top. Pete started putting out the gravel Tuesday arvo and he and I spent most of Wednesday doing the rest – 2 cubic metres – barrow by barrow.
