Footings prepared

Pete and Simon spent today laying and tying the mesh in the trench footing for the retaining wall and cleaning up the pier footings holes too. The concrete is coming for the footings tomorrow.

Anthony from Bellingen Shire Council came for his first inspection at 3pm – all good.

Also today: blocks for the retaining wall delivered (we covered these with black plastic to keep them dry; apparently they’re tricky to lay if wet), 4 cubic metres of concrete ordered.
